Noxubee County 72-Hour Feed Absent
The Noxubee County Sheriff's Office does not expose an official rolling 72-hour release feed located by the research. No public current roster, booking page, release archive, update cadence, retention window, or photo field was found either. Commercial pages styled to resemble a county jail are not an official substitute. A public three-day list should not be invented from arrest reports, social posts, or search results.
The correct first step is a request for release events across three exact dates. A records response can cover that bounded span even though there is no web feed. Ask the sheriff to state whether each listed event represents community release or a handoff to another custodian. Without that field, a release export may combine bond-outs and sentence completions with hospital movements, MDOC commitments, another county's pickup, or federal and immigration transfers.
The Noxubee County Sheriff's Office site is the official-facing place to check for later additions.
The captured sheriff page supplies agency context, but no three-day release filter or list.
Request Noxubee County 72-Hour Releases
Name the three dates rather than asking for “the last 72 hours.” Fixed calendar dates make the result stable if the request is opened later. If a true rolling period matters, provide the precise start and end time and state the time zone. Ask for an electronic table only when the sheriff already maintains one. The custodian need not create a new database or calculate an answer that is not kept as an existing record.
- Identify three exact calendar dates or two precise endpoints for the 72-hour span.
- Address a written request to the Public Records Custodian, Noxubee County Sheriff's Office, after confirming delivery details.
- Request the release log, booking or custody-event identifiers, actual release date and time, release type, destination, and receiving agency.
- Ask whether the response includes transfers and other movements as well as true community releases.
- Compare each event with the related bond order, dismissal, judgment, sentence, or other court authority.
- Follow transfer rows to MDOC, the named county, BOP, ICE, or another stated custodian.
The current sheriff app contact lists 505 Jefferson St #1, Macon, and (601) 749-1228. Other directory material conflicts with that contact, so confirm that it reaches the jail or public-records custodian. Ask for electronic delivery and an itemized cost estimate. Mississippi law permits actual-cost charges and advance payment, but no county flat fee was found.
A narrow request should identify the full legal name only when the inquiry concerns one person. For a complete three-day log, describe the existing record by date range and fields, then ask the custodian to preserve the headings used in the source. Request a booking sheet or custody history for any row that remains unclear. If the office withholds or redacts material, ask for a written citation to the exemption and the part of the record that can be separated and released. The Mississippi Public Records Act does not override court orders, juvenile protections, medical confidentiality, active-investigation limits, or other lawful restrictions.
Note: Three named dates are easier to audit than “recent releases” and reduce disputes about when the requested period began.
Noxubee County 72-Hour Release Fields
No public Noxubee County interface supplies a displayed field set. These are the fields to request from existing sheriff records. Each one answers a different part of the three-day question, and the destination field keeps a building exit from being mislabeled as freedom from all custody.
| Field to request | Use across the three-day span |
|---|---|
| Name, birth date, booking number | Separates similar names and ties a row to one booking. |
| Booking and arrest date | Shows which custody event ended during the requested window. |
| Actual release date and time | Places the event on the proper date and in chronological order. |
| Release reason or type | Distinguishes bond, dismissal, time served, sentence completion, and transfer. |
| Authority or court order | Points to the record that explains why the movement occurred. |
| Destination and receiving agency | Separates community release from continued custody elsewhere. |
A booking photograph may be requested as an associated field or record, subject to lawful review and redaction. It does not prove that release occurred. Pair any image with the dated custody event and the release reason.
Noxubee County Weekend Release Checks
A three-day window can span Friday through Sunday or cover the dates around a holiday, but no Noxubee County weekend-release policy or update schedule was found. Do not promise that a date falling on a weekend produces an earlier Friday release. Do not claim a delayed event will appear on the next day's list, because no such list exists. The sound approach is to request the exact dates and the actual event time maintained by the jail.
Office availability and jail processing are also different issues. A person may leave custody while an administrative office is closed, and the written response may arrive later. Mississippi's public-records response framework allows a public body to use a written procedure of up to seven working days. If it cannot produce by then, it must provide a particularized explanation and generally produce within fourteen working days. Those are response rules, not release-processing times.
For only the current calendar day, the Jail Releases: 24 Hours page uses a tighter interval and a more immediate verification sequence.
Noxubee County Release Roster Gaps
The sheriff's OCV configuration provides direct evidence about the public app. At review, its manifest identified welcome, contact, download, map, and shell components. It had no inmate, booking, release, jail, warrant, news, or booking-photo module. That finding is narrower and more reliable than a generic statement that a small county lacks online data. It describes the public configuration on the research date, not the sheriff's internal records.
The published Noxubee OCV manifest shows the available modules.
A later module change could create a new route, so the sheriff site and manifest should be rechecked before sending a request.
Historical local reporting adds a second reason not to infer release from absence. Noxubee detainees have previously been held in neighboring counties during crowding. The named counties in that report are not a current placement list, but the episode confirms that physical absence in Macon can coexist with continued custody. The destination and receiving-agency fields resolve that ambiguity.
Note: A three-day response without destination data can count movements correctly while still misclassifying transfers as community releases.
Verify Noxubee County Release Authority
Once the sheriff identifies an event, use the court record to understand the legal basis. A bond order does not show that bond was satisfied or state when the jail completed release. A final judgment can explain sentence terms but may not state the exact hour custody ended. A dismissal or nolle prosequi can explain a case action, while the jail log supplies the physical release event. Read the docket entry and obtain the signed order instead of treating a status flag as the whole answer.
The Noxubee Circuit Court MEC information page defines local access and flags.
The docket can preserve disposition information long after a temporary jail display would have changed, subject to sealing and expungement rules.
Noxubee County Three-Day Release Fallbacks
VINELink can support a one-person check when a participating agency sends a release, transfer, or other-custody update. It is not a county-wide chronological export and does not retain a permanent three-day list for public download. Court MEC explains individual case events. MDOC covers state commitments and people in state custody, including the Noxubee County Community Work Center, but it cannot replace a Noxubee jail bond-out record.
The Mississippi SAVIN/VINE notification information explains the custody-change alerts that may follow an individual record.
A notice should be paired with the underlying sheriff or MDOC record when the exact time, reason, or destination matters.
If a row says transferred to MDOC, use the official MDOC Inmate Search, then request status history or a discharge certificate for a durable answer. If another county or federal authority is named, use that recipient's record system. A person still shown on a live custody source remains held by that system; a person absent from one source remains unresolved until the event and destination are known.
MDOC's public tool accepts a first name, last name, or MDOC ID. Its detail record may show Location, Unit, Location Change Date, sentence fields, and a Tentative Release Date. That tentative field is prospective and can change. It should never be substituted for the actual county release time or a state discharge certificate. A Noxubee County Community Work Center resident is in the state system even though the facility is in Macon, while a county detainee who bonded out without an MDOC commitment remains a sheriff and court records matter.
Note: The 72-hour request answers a group-and-time-window question; the home search route is better for tracing one named person across systems.
